Just talked with Harold Tyson, Texas County Emergency Management (based at Guymon)

Harold Tyson, emergency management director for Texas County (in the Oklahoma Panhandle), said he has heard reports of 6 inches of snow around Texhoma in Texas County.

“It’s just slushy on the roads, from what I have seen around here,” Tyson said. “It’s a good wet snow and it’s coming straight down. It is still snowing. I hope it keeps doing this for the next two to three days. I know it won’t, but everybody needs the moisture.”
