Some reports so far on Christmas to the National Weather Service, Norman

Some reports this morning and the time these were reported to the National Weather Service, Norman:

10:05 a.m.: Snowing pretty hard, south Guthrie.

9:56 a.m : Sleet starting to increase in northwest Oklahoma City, no snow yet.

9:35 a.m.: 1/8 inch of an inch of ice accumulation here in Walters.

9:29 a.m. Snow and blowing snow in Altus. (Transitioning from sleet)

8:35 a.m.: Blair Fire Department reports sleet.

9:07 a.m.: Precipitation has turned to sleet in Walters.

9:10 a.m.: Getting some light sleet on the northwest side of Oklahoma City.

9:25 a.m.: Light freezing drizzle in Duncan.

7:45 a.m.: Here in Enid, sleet is pretty much over at this time and we are receiving light snow. Roads are a bit slick in spots but passable
