Oklahoma Panhandle, Wednesday evening, from the National Weather Service, Amarillo, Texas
The forecast for 6 PM Wednesday: A strong cold front will be south of the Panhandles
by this time with northwesterly winds becoming very strong behind the front.
Temperatures will be significantly colder than at 3 PM. Also, snow and
blowing snow is expected generally north and east of a Boise City, Okla. to
Canadian, Texas line, with areas of blowing dust elsewhere.
