Wednesday-Thursday forecast, from the National Weather Service, Norman
A strong frontal system will impact the Southern Plains Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Ahead of the front, gusty southwest winds and warm temperatures will enhance
wildfire potential. A few strong thunderstorms may also occur across parts of
eastern Oklahoma during the afternoon hours. Finally, much colder air will
spill into Oklahoma and western north Texas by Wednesday night, providing
some areas with at least a slight chance of wintry precipitation
Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
