A: That is well behind last year’s pace. At this time last year, Grandfield, which ended up with 101 days at or above 100 degrees for 2011, had already hit the century mark 31 times. Altus had hit 100,  29 times.

WEATHERFORD… CHOCTAW… MCLOUD AND SHAWNEE WILL LIKELY PRODUCE
VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. THIS WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES AND CREATE
PONDING ON AREA ROADWAYS THAT WILL MAKE DANGEROUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS. ALL THE ACTIVITY WILL MOVE SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
