HOT…DRY…AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE OCCURRING ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND
NORTH TEXAS. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE OF SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA…AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS…WHERE SEVERAL MAJOR WILDFIRES
HAVE STARTED.
CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN HIGHLY FAVORABLE FOR DESTRUCTIVE WILDFIRES
UNTIL SEVERAL HOURS AFTER SUNSET. EVERYONE IN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH
TEXAS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH FIRE AND WITH VERY HOT
OBJECTS…ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
