Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Troop A, based in Oklahoma City, Central Oklahoma

TROOP A (based in Oklahoma City) – Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie Counties are all slick and hazardous at this time.  All travel is discouraged.  As precipitation continues to fall and temperatures fall conditions will deteriorate. If travel is absolutely necessary, allow extra time and be sure to be prepared for the worst with a full tank of gas, extra blankets, food, and water, charged cell phone, and pay close attention to land marks so emergency personnel can find you if you encounter problems.
