Weather through evening, from the National Weather Service, Norman

THROUGH THIS EVENING…MOISTURE WILL DEEPEN…AND LIFT WILL INCREASE
AHEAD OF AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH. RADAR INDICATES LIGHT RAIN OCCURRING
FROM WESTERN NORTH TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA UP THROUGH CENTRAL
AND NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. FAR NORTHERN OKLAHOMA WILL BE THE AREA
OF GREATEST CONCERN THIS EVENING…AS LIGHT RAIN EVAPORATING INTO
UNSATURATED AIR MAY LOCALLY PUSH TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING. A VERY
LIGHT GLAZE OF ICE COULD RESULT. GROUND TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE HIGH
ENOUGH TO PREVENT MUCH ICE FROM FORMING ON ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS…
BUT DRIVERS IN FAR NORTHERN OKLAHOMA SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE
POTENTIAL FOR SLICK SPOTS.
