Showers in some areas of southern and western Oklahoma already today, National Weather Service, Norman

AROUND 1230 PM…RADAR DETECTED ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED
SHOWERS OVER THE SOUTHERN HALF OF OKLAHOMA AND ADJACENT AREAS
OF NORTH TEXAS.  THE SHOWERS WERE LIFTING NORTHEAST AROUND 10
MPH.  A MORE CONCENTRATED AREA OF PRECIPITATION WAS
LOCATED BETWEEN LEEDEY AND CHEYENNE. 

ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP DURING
THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE UPPER
80S TO LOWER 90S.  SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA WILL
HAVE THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN.
