Did any of the storm of March 20 count as winter snow? Over half the day was still technically a winter day since the sun crossed the equator after noon that day. Shouldn’t some of the snow count as winter snow?

Mc Manus: When we talk “winter” snow, we are generally talking about the first day it snowed to the last day it snowed, regardless of whether it was December 21-March-21 or October 20-April 13.
So yes, all of it counted as winter snow. Although it doesn’t look like we will, we could still receive a snow that would put us over the Oklahoma City record of 25.2 in 1947-48.

Also what were the snow totals for the other months of the winter- such as January February and March?

No other months set records in Oklahoma City:

OKLAHOMA CITY WILL ROGERS AIRPORT
date, month|snow
2009-December,14.0 inches
2010-January,5.2 inches
2010-February,1.5 inches
2010-March, 2.5 inchesWere any of the months other than December snowiest on record?

No other months set records for Oklahoma City . The records are listed:

December 8.3″ (broken in December 2009)
January 16.9″
February 10.9″
March 13.9″
April 0.8″

So how did our winter total out for the record books? and did any of the storm of March 20 count as winter snow?
