WITH RAIN NEAR AND SOUTH OF THE RED RIVER… WILL CONTINUE TO
ACROSS SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
NORTH TEXAS THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY AT OR BELOW
FREEZING ALONG AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR IN WESTERN
OKLAHOMA WITH READINGS IN THE MID TO UPPER 30S TO THE SOUTH. LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS OF WET SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH NOON… MAINLY
SOUTH OF AN ELK CITY… TO ANADARKO… TO DUNCAN LINE AS AN UPPER
LEVEL STORM SYSTEM CONTINUES TO TRACK EAST INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF SOUTHWEST
OKLAHOMA AND PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA AND
PORTIONS OF WESTERN NORTH TEXAS THROUGH 6 PM TODAY.
PATCHY FOG WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO LOWER VISIBILITIES AT TIMES TO LESS
THAN ONE MILE IN PART OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA THROUGH MID MORNING.
DRIVING CONDITIONS MAY BECOME LOCALLY HAZARDOUS DUE TO SUDDEN
CHANGES IN VISIBILITY. IF YOU WILL BE DRIVING IN OR THROUGH CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA THIS MORNING… USE EXTRA CAUTION.
