According to the National Weather’s Service’s Norman Forecast Office, rain showers will continue to develop across portions of southeast and south central Oklahoma through 4 p.m. today.
An isolated thunderstorm may develop but rainfall amount will mainly be remain light.
This is where the however comes in.
However, heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds will be possible with any strong storm so monitor the weather.
Skies will gradually clear from west to east in the Norman Forecast Office coverage area the rest of this afternoon and into tonight.
It should continue to be cool this afternoon with highs in the 70s to lower 80-degree range.
