This was a very interesting and different take on mass media; I liked it. While reading this blog, I was thinking back on my high school days when MySpace was the in thing. I remember that everyone had one and that as long as I didn’t have one, I was not cool and I slowly felt myself becoming less involved and connected with my peers. It was then that I decided to get a MySpace, and once I got one, I felt included back into society. It’s kind of sad to think that without plugging yourself into Facebook, Twitter, sports, and other organizations that you may run a risk of not being involved in the community around you. Since when did hanging out and playing cards become un-cool and not an acceptable way to meet and mingle with friends.
