This is only one game against a desperate team who wants to make a playoff run, with a proud and talented player, like Kobe, who knows what he can do, with 30 points and playing hurt.

The main question is; are the Thunder really that good to win against a great team like the Heat, or is Barkley right on that he predicts the Thunder has no chance n winning the title, as his concern is the low post, which seems about right?

The answers lays on what Brooks can do now, as opposed to what he has been doing before. If he does not chance strategies by the next time he faces the Heat, then all work done just down the drain. He hasn’t made serious changes that make the center position relevant to win games. He only has the point gguard and small forward doing the scoring. Perkins isn’t intersted in shooting the ball, but when he does, it usually clanks or shooting jumpers.

The most effective way, I think would be dunks for the big men and lay-ups near the rim, to make it a higher shooting percentage than jumpers. The team are full of jumpers, but when it clangs out, there’s the another problem of collecting rebounds, and to Barkley is another weak spot, were the center or power forward needs improvement!

Russ was awesome.Rotations and lineups were a little better.D was mostly good,we just kept bailing them out with fouls.Thabeet had 3 offensive boards in 7 min...just sayin.Reggie Jackson looked awesome as a scorer. We should just use him that way and not as a pseudo point guard.Brewer fit right in.What was up with Fish?He was on a mission tonight.Good game for us.Its always fun to remind my Laker fan buddies that they never led and only appeared to get back in the game when we got lakadaisical.Am I the only one noticing that Serge is working on a new post move, and its gonna be a good development when he gets it down.

Thank God the heat has won the last six games in a row against the Thunder or some guys wouldn't have anything to complain about after they blow out the Lakers.I think, that for now,Coach Brooks should focus on winning the next game instead of trying to work on ways to beat the Heat when they're playing against the Knicks. I think I'll give the Westbrook haters a talking point, just to get them started Yeah,Russell scored 37 pts. grabbed 10 rebs. with 5 assists, but he had half of the teams turnovers.(1) One other thing about tonights game.Did I hear the radio guys right.Did Russ give the bench a "Popeye face" after he battled for an offense rebound and a put back?I never noticed that before, but I think they're right. It would make sense because if there ever was a player thats "strong to the finish" it's Russell Westbrook and I doubt he even has to eat his spinach.

As per Charles Barkley, the Thunder has no chance in beating the Heat if a repeat of the finals happen again this year. Why? The reason according to him is the Thunder has no low post player who can punish the Heat down low and with the Thunder mostly jumpers, no center or power forward can be scoring near the basket. Besides, he said that LeBron James can defend anybody, guard, forward or center.

The only team that can beat the Heat are the Spurs and the Memphis Grizzlies, because they have bigs that can score at the low post and without that low post presence, that Heat cannot be beaten. The Heat can be beaten if a team has big centers that can score at the low post.

One thing is odd, that the Thunder can beat the Spurs and the Grizzlies, but not the Heat. I think he is right on the mark, because the Heat has beaten Brook's team 6 straight times and he has no solution.

Maybe Brooks could ask Charles on how to be able to beat the Heat? If you watched the post game analysis, that when he was telling his observation on the 4 teams.

I have been mentioning this on my blog that Brooks should begin developing his centers and power forwards to score at the post to be an inside-outside game, but until now he relies on his shooting guard, Westbrook and small Forward, Durant to do all the scoring they want and nobody could guard LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Battier, Bosh, Chalmers and maybe Allen.

Brooks should start now doing something about the weakness on his team or waste another year for nothing!
