Couldn't disagree more with this Onus DM puts on Ibaka for the Harden trade.
Serge is panning out fine with plenty more to come. I recall Harden's rookie year when the talk was about the number 3 pick who's stats were meager next to lower picks like Tyreke Evans and I forget who else. Every bit of that trade is on management, and spare us discussions of how billionaires are supposed to manage their payroll - it is after all play money replenished by the boom in natural gas production, and compared to that all this luxury tax blather is chump change, end of story. That was an alignment of stars for the ages and there's plenty of time for this trade to go down as the worst since the GSW traded Parish and Mchale for Joe Barely Cares. This is no knock on K-Mart by the way. I guess I'm pulling for a great rivalry for years to come between the Rockets and Thunder; I guess...

I agree that the team is not playing well now and I wouldn't bet on them getting back to the Finals. However, it takes some extremely creative thinking to label Durant and WB divas and selfish. They're 24 years old. They care more than anyone in the league about winning. The passion that they play with on most nights is inspiring and why many of us love this team so much. They haven't figured out how to win big in this league yet. Jordan was in his 6th year before he finally figured it out. These guys are the good guys. They will get it figured out. Heck, they have figured it out before (last year against SA) and will more than likely figure it out again. Let's give them a chance to get it figured out before we call them divas and a lost cause.

I agree with a previous comment. The team is getting the big head with no accountability. Durant's ego is getting the better of him. Don't see his mother or grandmother on the sidelines any more. He's been seen at Casinos blowing money with his groupies, Westbrook's slamming his fellow team mates in front of them and the world. I don't see this team going far in the playoffs. Stick a fork in them. Oh Well.

Rriver could not agree more. As much as I like KD I was shocked to see him just standing there instead of moving around for a pass. And RJackson is someone who I think will or does not listen to advice from others...WB screaming don't foul and this is our backup pguard
I am wondering where this is going to take us.

First of all, congratulations to Sefolosha for a game well done by scoring his 28 points, with efficiency and hoping he will continue to score in double digits on all games in the future. At his 6'7" height as a shooting guard, he can relish that to his advantage to the hilt, as any good player, like, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and others. He is not known only now for being a defensive specialist, but also an offensive threat, that other teams will notice.

The weak spot of the Thunder's armor is the center, that has no offensive punch and weak defensive zone. If Brooks choses Thabeet, he has to put together in scoring, rebounding and shot blocking, but he has not been playing long minutes to see what he has to show. With Collison, I know what he can do, but he will get in foul trouble, because his height disadvantage shows, not unlese, he plays like the Spurs, Blair, who is shorter than Collison but defends well.

I think that Brooks is in a conundrum to find answers fast, or Presti has to act quickly for a trade or two to plug the holes of a sinking season! Wish I was more optimistic, but it looks bad now on the second half of this season.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “That kind of felt like a nightmare come true, no? The ghost of James Harden coming back to exact some revenge on his old team. Each shot hurting worse and worse. Each drive, each Euro-step, each pinpoint pass only exacerbating the fact that he not only no longer plays for your team, but he also is excelling with someone else. It’s one thing to see it from afar. It’s entirely another to have to watch Harden rip your heart out, like you used to delight in seeing him do to so many others, and know there isn’t a thing anybody can do about it. The Thunder has never encountered that. Not before Wednesday night, when Harden shook off miserable performances in his first two meetings against his former team and hung a career-high 46 points on the Thunder in a 122-119 win inside the Toyota Center. It’s convenient to say it’s only one loss for the Thunder and just one win for the Rockets. But it’s really not. The reality is it’s not about today. What we witnessed Harden do here was a cold-blooded reminder of what could have been in OKC. Nothing has ever drilled that home quite like the show Harden just strung together.” [...]

This is a tough league, everyone needs to calm down. Even the best teams will put together a string of bad games. It's not the end of the world, and Harden isn't going to drop 46 every night. I'll take him putting together two dud performances and one career game against us every season. We win two, they win one. And although you're right we didn't choose Ibaka over Harden; I think it would be tougher to repeat as Western Conf. Champs without Ibaka than without Harden. We have scorers and playmakers, albeit they need to move the ball better, but we definitely need that stout interior defense to go against Duncan, the Gasol brothers, Randolph, Griffin, and Howard. Without Ibaka, we wouldn't get back to the finals in my opinion.

Ibaka better pan out? That's absurd. Anyone who thinks Ibaka has anything to prove to anyone over some perception that he was "chosen" over Harden is an idiot. He has no responsibility for making OKC look wise for trading Harden. That's not on him. Anyone who wants to put that on him is an idiot.
