Westbrook is at least an equal scoring talent to Harden,he is a better defender and passer...yea I said it,he is.Harden is a much better three point shooter and has a more relaxed tempo to his game. But contrary to popular belief,he is not a point guard and s overrated as a "playmaker".What he is is a lights out scorer as s Westbrook. What kind of numbers would WB put up on a team without another superstar?Dont be silly.

Tood, you are obviously biased with your beloved Westbrook, but others are unlike your narrow mindedness. I see the defects of Westbrook and I see the smartness in the player like Harden. You only see what you want to see and totally ignore the defects of Westbrook. I compare Westbrook to Harden, and I think Harden can play the wiser game of basketball.

Harden has no Durant to bail him out in Houston and he still wins the game. Forget about the 2 other games that you mentioned blew them out, cause the last game should have been won by the Thunder, but Harden blew the Thunder and Westbrook in the same game!

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see Martin,Lamb,PJ3,Collison,and Thabeet on the floor together.Another combo would be Jackson,Liggins,Brewer,Collison, and Orton. The first lineup would be explosive offensively with two shooters in the backcourt and a supremely talented athlete name PJ3 would suddenly find lanes to operate in.backcourt D would be questionable but interior D solid. The other lineup would be ridiculously defensively stout and on O just give Reggie Jackson the green light to shoot at will but also attempt to play a little inside out ball with Orton.Im envisioning a ridiculous amount of transition buckets....of course I'm only dreaming. We have mr."stay the course" behind the wheel.Dont have high hopes on seeing these types of changes.

Red, I hated to see him go as well, but he was the primary backup for something like 25 games, and it was obvious that he was not his old self. I think he'll get there eventually, but the Thunder needs someone who can do the job now. Plus Maynor's on that expiring contract, so he's probably gone by the end of the year anyway, even if he wasn't traded away this afternoon.

In short, he had his chance. If he was playing like the old Eric Maynor, he's almost certainly the back-up point guard right now, and almost certainly will want more money this summer than OKC is willing to pay him. Since he wasn't the old Eric Maynor, at least not yet, he had to ride the bench. And you knew he wasn't going to be happy about that. It was probably the right call, even though I hate to see him there.

As far as Brewer goes, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that they would make this trade for someone who's just going to sit on the bench. But I guess we'll see. He strikes me as being in the same mold as Thabo and Liggins though, and you know he isn't taking Thabo's minutes. So maybe Liggins ends up being the bench sitter. But again, I guess we'll have to see.

Sorry he looks like another bench sitter to me and we have lots of those. People say we are building. What about thinking of now
Hate to see Maynor go but maybe he will get some good playing time else where he would never have gotten a chance in OKC. Brooks thinks that RJackson is the next best thing.

So Jack, if last night's game showed that Harden is better than Westbrook, what did the other two games show that these teams played earlier in the year, when OKC blew them away and Harden couldn't find his beard with both hands?

Maybe it shows that we shouldn't make snap-judgments based on a single game?

Anyway, fare thee well, Eric Maynor, and best of luck with the Trailblazers, or wherever you end up after this season. Hated to see you go, but figured you would. So thanks for wearing Thunder Blue so very well.

And welcome aboard, Ronnie Brewer. Be interesting to see how this shakes out, especially when the playoffs roll around. Guess it's safe to say that no one not named Sam Presti had this one on the radar. But, that's what he do.

With the prospect of losing guard J.J. Redick to free agency this summer the Orlando Magic traded him to the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Bucks sent the Magic Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris and Beno Udrih for Redick. Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith were sent to Milwaukee as part of the deal for Redick.

The Magic also traded forward Josh McRoberts to the Charlotte Bobcats for forward Hakim Warrick, a league source told Y! Sports' Marc Spears.

The Bucks have a serious interest in re-signing Redick to a contract this summer. With an increased role this season, Redick has averaged a career-high 15.1 points.

Redick, 28, was a popular player for the Magic, who drafted him 11th overall in 2006 after a storied career at Duke. After entering the NBA as strictly a shooter, Redick has developed into a respected all-around player and will be a significant commodity on the free-agent market this summer.

Isn't it the Magic's manager was the former Thunder's assistant manager? Boy, is he really that confident in his choices, as Beno Udrih was a former back-up to Tony Parker and he is good player.

Maybe the Magic's manager is getting ready for next year!

Hope that the Thunder got Brewer on his upside way of thinking cause as per Associated press story below:

Brewer was a starter earlier this season who lost his starting spot - and eventually his place in the rotation entirely - after a shooting slump. He was dealt for a 2014 second-round pick and cash.

Brewer appeared in 46 games, making 34 starts, and averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds. Signed by New York last summer, he has also played for Utah, Chicago and Memphis.

The New York Knicks traded swingman Ronnie Brewer to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, opening up a roster spot that will be used to sign veteran forward Kenyon Martin.

Martin will be insurance for injured big men Rasheed Wallace and Marcus Camby, a pair of 38-year-old backup forwards who have both been battling foot injuries.
