There is no assurance that nobody is indispensable in the NBA, as an example look at the Celtics trying to trade Rondo for Bledsoe and Garnett for DeAndre Jordan and Caron Butler.

The goal of any team in the NBA are to win the championship and if any thinks they will not traded, they might be wrong.
Its all business and players are pawns. Westbrook might be the next one, if he becomes uncontrollable in his ways.

Well, Todd, the peanut gallery is alive and certainly not deaf, and, unfortunately, in one aspect, not dumb either.

On another aspect, however, it’s easy to leap to a founded conclusion.

If the peanut gallery bothers to respond, the quips will be all so predictable, typical blogger jargon.

Heh, yeah, Tim and Sam, I’m sure you’d both just love to get into a fistfight with either Westbrook or Bryant, wouldn’t you.

Not really possible that they’re just ultra-competitive on the court, but can turn it down when they’re off the court, apparently. Of course, for anyone who’s played some kind of organized sport before, you’re probably aware that such things actually are possible, and do happen. For everyone else….surprise!

The dunk contest last night was pretty weak until the final round. The dunks we saw there were the kind of dunks that folks tuned in to see. Before that, too many almost-dunks.

Probably the worst miss of the night was by Kenny Smith when he said it would rank as one of the top ten dunk contests ever. Oops.

Barkley was right. They need to get some of the big-name players involved. Including LeBron. And including Westbrook. You get guys like that involved, you’re going to have a memorable night. But I guess they’re too afraid of looking like the guys looked last night when they kept missing. Too bad.

Yep, I remember the younger Kobe Bryant during a game with the Pacers then fighting with Reggie Miller and Miller’s sister weighing on what happened, just said, a couple of girls fighting. I think Westbrook is the same way too!

Russell Westbrook and Kobe Bryant were joking around with each other and having a good time during the All-Star practice this morning. Just a few weeks ago they got into a small shoving match during a game. It always amazes me how these relationships can change for a weekend and go right back to being ultra competitive on Monday.

Westbrook is just a weasel for being unpredicable. I am sure he cannot fight Kobe in the basketball court nor physical fighting, so he just does what he can do, pretend to be friends. I think Kobe can sometimes be the same way.
