Sometimes I wonder if people are watching the same games as I am. So, basically if the Thunder doesn't win EVERY single game then Trace & a few others won't be fans anymore. Well, then by all means. Please go jump on someone else's bandwagon. Trust me. You won't be missed. But, good luck in finding one that hasn't lost to a lower seed team. I'll look forward to hearing an update from you on how that search is going.

The Thunder was outrebounded by the Jazz 26-38 and outassisted by 15-25, Jazz had 6 double digit scorers as the Thunder had only 2 double digit scorer and guess who, Westbrook and Durant. That's again is what the Thunder stands for, 2 man offense, before the All-Stars weekend.

This Thunder group does not play like a team. Weak rebounding, low assists, limited playing time for the 2nd unit, weak rebounding and scoring by their center and power forward. The shooting guard is not really shooting, but only a defensive stopper and will be dared to shoot, just as the coach wants him to do.

I really don't believe the Thunder will win the championship this year, if they are beaten by lower seed teams. I just lost interest with the players, coach and Presti. I think that's all what this team can show before they are traded away for being too much for the luxury NBA tax.

What can the Thunder protectors say about being beaten and going down the win-loss column? Nothing is wrong with the team as they always say. That's pathetic for them.

Mullens, Bobcats end Celtics' win streak 94-91

The 7-foot Mullens hit 10 of 16 shots from the field, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range. The four-year NBA veteran turned in a career game with 25 points and 18 rebounds as the Bobcats snapped a seven-game losing streak.

''It's big time,'' Walker said of Mullens' effort. ''We need that from him. We need that from Byron and he can do it. We know he can do it every night. He is very capable. When he has big games like that, you know, I think that gives us a much better chance.''

Mullens said he was more pleased with his rebounding than his scoring ''because that is not what I'm known for.

''I just have to show the league and this organization that I can rebound,'' he said.
The Bobcats battled back in the third quarter behind 12 points from Mullens to take a 75-72 lead into the fourth. Mullens, who scored Charlotte's first 10 points of the game, did most of his damage from outside, knocking down 3-pointers and turnaround jumpers, showing great touch for a big man.

''Byron was as good as you can get in the NBA statistically in many ways,'' Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap said. ''He's still young. He's growing.

Why do some of you constantly post the exact same thing, over and over and over. I don't even bother with it anymore. I get just far enough to realize the broken record is back, and I move on. Try posting something new. It's possible. You've done it before.

And let's deal with Utah before rolling the turrets around toward the Heat. One battle at a time.

who cares about an MVP race. all that matters is the chip!!! ask dirk or steve nash how they feel/felt about the mvp without winning the whole thing. kd only wants to win. period!!! if they win the finals, which they should, he wouldn't even care if he wasn't finals mvp. the only way to beat the thunder is to go crazy from 3, and thats what are teams are gearing up to do (i.e. clippers, heat, knicks, spurs). i don't see all these teams shooting like 60% from three in the finals like the heat did last year. okc has this one wrapped!

@lester - are you f'ing kidding. do you pay attention to basketball or did you just happen to see mullens' stat line from yesterday?! What are his numbers on the season? how has he contributed to the bobcats winning record? oh, thats right they don't have one. So what is mullens bringing to the table exactly? he didn't play in okc because he didn't want to play big man, he wanted to play extremely tall shooting guard. know the game before you comment please!!
Also, where in this article is there a mention of how the thunder deal with young players or byron mullens?!!!

If the Thunder can develop these second unit in time for the game with the Spurs this March 11, that would be a great game to see. The Spurs are playing 11-12 players right now, without Duncan and Ginobili and are still doing great. They are also limiting the playing time of their starters. Popovich is surely a wise coach to get his team clicking on all 12 to 14 cylinders and a night for the Thunder to handle, specially in San Antonio home court.

Here’s hoping the Thunder beat them to get back to home court advantage in the conference playoff, by getting the hometown OKC crowd all rev-up and ready to support their local team.

Another thing to watch, is seeing if the Thunder can get the monkey (Heat) off their backs by watching videos on how Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks beat the Heat twice and Wizards, Clippers, Detroit, Boston, Utah, Portland, Milwaukee Golden State, Chicago and Memphis beat them once! As of now, the Thunder has been beaten by the Heat 4 straight times starting last years finals and nothing has been done to fix this problem by Scotty Brooks or his staff!

So far the Thunder has not been successful with them yet and really needs to focus on how to defend and be offensive minded to take are of the trio. Hope they now have a plan of attack.

Which would Durant chose, MVP or the Championship? It might be able to get both because of (se below);

The Heat has the Lakers number and they played the Thunder the same way last finals, drive and kick out for the three point shooters to make. Hope the Thunder has solved that same old problem, as I have had it with the Thunder losing four straight!!!

John Rohde, what in your opinion can get the Thunder to beat the Heat, cause as of last finals up to now, the Heat has beaten the Thunder 4 straight games?

The Thunder Made a mistake in trading Byron Mullens to the Bobcats as he is now their best player making; 25 points, 10-16 shooting (top scorer in game), 18 rebounds, 4 assists in 42 minutes of play. The guy is 6’11″ tall which could be a starter with the Thunder as power forward or center plus a scorer and rebounder. Those two attributes in scoring and rebounds are the things missing in that position for the Thunder.

Presti and Brooks should try to give their rookies and new players to show what they do before trading them quickly. Brooks must play them instead of lingering on the bench, just as some stubborn coaches do. That is an old style of orienting the new player, specially the rookies!
