Thw Wiz & the Cavs didn’t have OKC’s attention & focus on them, that’s a plus that Miami won’t have on their side….

Miami then Allstar game then Houston when the team gets back together, never thought that the Allstar game would become a game that’s just in the way….

As we speak, Miami is watching film to see how the Wizards and. Cavs beat OKC. Even though the two teams don’t play for another week and have other opponents to deal with in the meantime.

If the Thunder can develop these second unit in time for the game with the Spurs this March 11, that would be a great game to see. The Spurs are playing 11-12 players right now, without Duncan and Ginobili and are still doing great. They are also limiting the playing time of their starters. Popovich is surely a wise coach to get his team clicking on all 12 to 14 cylinders and a night to handle, specially in San Antonio.

Here’s hoping the Thunder beat them to get back to home court advantage in the conference playoff, by getting the hometown crowd all rev-up and ready to support their local team.

Another thing to watch on, is seeing if the Thunder can get the monkey off their backs by watching videos on how Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks beat them twice and Wizards, Clippers, Detroit, Boston, Utah, Portland, Milwaukee Golden State, Chicago and Memphis beat them once!

So far the Thunder has not been successful with them yet and really needs to focus on how to defend and be offensive minded to take are of the trio.

Maybe the Thunder has now have the right combinations with the second unit doing just fine and getting better acclimated to get things going.

The biggest feature I noticed in the Thunder’s victory playing the Warriors, and the first matter that coach Brooks brought up before press questioners after the game, was the marvelous play of the reserves.

Further, Brooks doesn’t experiment in games. Rather he allows players to grow in different roles on the court.

Most call the final minutes of a put-away game garbage time.

Yet I’m just as intrigued in the time the Thunder reserves play on the court regardless the time in the game. And I doubt that coach Brooks is yakiting up and ignoring the play in the supposed garbage time.

There’s a learning going on with keen observers, fans, coaches, and the reserves on the NBA stage.

(DM) Reggie Jackson, Kevin Martin, Nick Collison and Hasheem Thabeet were the four Brooks went with in the first half, flanking them with Durant and Thabo Sefolosha.

Did Reggie play point guard, Martin as shooting guard, Collison as power forward, Durant as small forward and Thabeet as center and Sefolosha alternating with Durant, is this what happened when they caught fire to get a 20 point lead?

The second half, Brooks played Reggie, Martin, Sefolosha, Collison and Ibaka with the lead at 11 increased to 23 point lead, without the two all stars in the game, is that correct?

If that’s what has been formed by Brooks in those quarters, he might have just stumbled to a very good combination for the Thunder to mix it up to confuse the other team, once in a while. Might just be good second unit has been discovered here! By the way, Brooks played 12 players last night and 13 the other night, he has now been doing the right things of late.

Glad the THUNDER shut them down & shut them up, I couldn’t believe there wasn’t a foul called when K-Mart got shoved out of bounds….

To me, Hasheem Thabeet, is getting very good, I wonder what him & SERGE would do together on the court…. Maybe one day one game we’ll get to see that tandem doing damage to an opposing teams shooting percentage….

I love when the THUNDER are focused on their opponent, you get to see hoops domination at it’s finest…. Feb. 14th, I can’t wait…. A message needs to be sent….

29 dimes by 8 players, 12 turnovers – including 4 assists by Ibaka – I didn’t see the game but this is one pretty box score…

This I think will set the one for the Thunder and get the other team thinking too much;

•Ibaka decided to be an animal on the boards tonight. With no Andrew Bogut, the Warriors didn’t really have anyone to stop Serge from gobbling up rebounds so that’s exactly what he did. He had three offensive boards in the first quarter and got his offensive game going with two early putbacks.
•At the other end, Ibaka also blocked shots like crazy, swatting four in the first quarter and finishing with six to go with 15 points and nine boards.
•The Thunder’s 16 blocked shots tonight are a season high.
