Hmmm. Allen Iverson squandered his money and the Thunder needs Kevin Garnett for a title run. The things you learn browsing the comments section.

Wasn't the article about tonight's game though? Maybe I should ask Blake. It appears he actually read it.

Just last week, the Los Angeles Clippers expressed interest in trading for Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett. That trade would free up money for the Celtics and give the Clippers a good shot at an NBA championship opportunity. A new team has entered the market in the Denver Nuggets. This is an important fact because Kevin Garnett has a no-trade clause in his contract.

Now why will this two teams want a mid 30's player like Kevin Garnett. The answer is his defense, scoring, blocks, rebounding and his intimidation on other players. An all around versatile power forward/center when needed.

The Thunder needs somone like him to be a force for the championship quest, besides, he has already had his ring and he knows that he had to go to Boston to get it and not in Minnesota. Kevin G. is receiving $11.5 milion at age 36 with the Celtics.

Let's hope that every player on the Thunder will play focus defense on their man to preventwhat happen last game were the point guard, Stephen Curry outplayed his counterpart and so with power forward/center David Lee who also outplayed his counterpart, as their center Bogut will not play tonight.

Stephen Curry banked in an off-balance shot while getting fouled by Russell Westbrook to start a three-point play, falling to his knees and shaking his shoulders to the sellout crowd.

Curry had 31 points and seven assists, and the Warriors punctuated the season's midpoint by outlasting the NBA-best Oklahoma City Thunder. Curry also outplayed Westbrook.

Curry matched Kevin Durant's spectacular scores all game, stole a pass from the Thunder's leading man in the final seconds and hit a pair of free throws to seal the Warriors' third straight victory. David Lee had 22 points and 12 rebounds, helped Golden State outrebound Oklahoma City's lengthy frontline 40-39 and made some big plays late.

Thunder should also look out for Carl Landry and Klay Thompson who scored 20 and 19 points respectively.

The NBA players, specially the former ones or those who have not been able to get back to pro-basketball should always be frugal with their acquired wealth or be paupers after the playing careers are over. I say this because there are several players who have experienced first hand like;

Iverson allegedly defaulted on a $1.2 million mortgage which sent the $4.5 million home into foreclosure. He briefly fought off an auction ... but ultimately, he couldn't stop it.

Sources close to the sale tell TMZ ... Iverson's bank purchased the mansion [Tuesday] for $2.5 million.

This isn't the first time a mansion owned by Iverson has gone into foreclosure. Back in March 2011, the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom, 6,848-square-foot mansion he'd purchased in Cherry Hills, Colo., while a member of the Denver Nuggets "slip[ped] into foreclosure" after Iverson quit paying a mortgage on which he still reportedly owed $2,572,914. Iverson also met with some strife when parting with the six-bedroom mansion in Villanova, Pa., he'd owned while a member of the Philadelphia 76ers; it sat on the market for three years after he listed it at $6.3 million before eventually selling for just $2.6 million in 2010.
