Lamb, PJ3 etc are all getting a TON of playing time in Tulsa. Getting actual game minutes and experience in Tulsa then practicing in OKC is better than just sitting on the bench during thunder games. Plus, Lamb is leading the D-League in scoring!

The Thunder will win the game against the Grizzlies now that their third scorer is out, but not sure if Tayshaun Prince will be playing tonight. If he plays, then all bets are off, because even at age 32, he can still score about 13-14 points with a 45% shooting, has a rebounding average of 4.5, assists at 2.5 per game and 1.2 turnovers in an average of 32 minutes at 6’9″ height. He is also a very defender.

Besides, Tayshaun has earned his championship with the Detroit Pistons and has nothing to prove anymore.

“We got rid of James, that had to happen, but we didn’t get rid of KD,” OKC coach Scott Brooks said. “We’re going to be good for a long time.
“So we’re excited about where we’re going, but still we want to win a championship now. We’re not playing for next season or the next season after. We’re like every team, if you have a chance to win you want to win now.”

Martin becomes a free agent after this season. With just one playoff series in his first eight seasons with Sacramento and Houston, Martin, who is making more than $12 million this season, says he wants to re-sign with OKC.

And if OKC needs an escape hatch, Presti still holds the amnesty card, which he can use, if he so chooses, next offseason on a player such as center Kendrick Perkins, who will earn $18.6 million over the next two seasons.

At the moment, no team is better positioned to conquer it than the Thunder. We shall see!

Dwayne Wade and Pat Riley got the idea of getting LeBron James and Chris Bosh together to form the Heat’s quest to the championship and it took them two years to accomplish it.
They knew that it would take three good scorers andsoea complimentary players to do it and the first year was getting to blend them together. It also made LeBron, not Wade to lead them to the championship, by being unselfish player and get the others involved, not only the three of them. I believe that’s what happen last year when they eliminated the Thunder in the finals.

It cannot be done by only two players or even three, it takes all five to play in harmony. If Presti or Durant wants it this year, they have to get everybody involved in the quest!If they don’t do it this year, chances are this group might be broken up due to the NBA luxury tax.

I will bet you that Maynor is gone before the deadline. If they can deal him for something that can actually help the team why would they hold on to him, let him sit the bench the rest of the year and let him walk in free agency? The Thunder have plenty of guys that can run the point. Heck Martin use to run the point at Sac.

The Los Angeles Lakers are BACK! Kobe Bryant continue his transformation from scorer to facilitator.After averaging more than 24 field-goal attempts and just 4.2 assists per game over a monthlong stretch that saw L.A. go 5-11, Bryant has switched up over the past three games, taking just 34 shots while dishing 39 dimes in the trio of wins, the most in any three-game stretch during his 17-year NBA.

It seems to be working — especially the “Kobe at point guard” part.

For the Miami Heat, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are all averaging more than 50% from the ield that’s why they are the top team in the east!

Just the Thunder understand the right wa to win ll the games left and theymight just miss the top seed!
