For what it's worth, this was the 1st game all year where KD s scores 35+ and Thunder lost. Were previously about 11-0. Contrast Lakers who are 0-9 or worse when Kobe scores 35+.

High pts for KD typically translate into Thunder wins. But I would have liked to have seen Ibaka and Martin with more touches in this loss. RW has been hot of late but needs to exercise even greater restraint.

Thubder still in good shape, but I'm worried about playing Clippers after back to back OT games in which KD played c. 50 minutes each.

I don't believe on all what you said, because what you mentioned are all in defense of Brooks, Durant and Westbrook. I don't see you mentioning why the Thunder lost. I think what the guys (Frank, Tony, Sal and Tyrone) just said are true. Do you think the other teams already know how to tackle the Thunder? Yes, that's why they lost!

I think you are a dreamer that the Thunder cannot be beat. The Thunder has lost to; Denver, Brooklyn, Miami, Minnesota, Boston, Memphis, Atlanta and San Antonio, with only three favorite teams to have top chances to win it. The other 5 teams were suppose to be beaten, but beat the Thunder instead. Who do you think is responsible? The Thunder coach and players and its not the other team wanting to win, its the Thunder wanting to lose.
In any given situation, there are causes and effects, that is what is logical and not because they are winning, its nobodys fault.

First of all...Frank.What kind of moron blames the coach for a loss because he coached the day after his mom died?Second-Tony.Do you honestly think Coach Brooks can't come up with a good game plan.We blew these guys out last Wednesday.Give Coach Karl and especially Corey Brewer some credit and they played a great defensive game. 3-Sal.We beat Dallas in overtime on friday.KD and Russ won it in OT.Last night their shooting % was bad,but they found a way to get 36 apiece.4 Tyrone. You think anybody could defend our simple offensive pattern?KD and Russ are the most potent tandom in the league and on a bad night they scored over 70 points.Do you really think that we would have won if we had got more shots for Jackson,Liggins and Thabeet? 5-Eric.I'd like to commend you on your memory.I know that now instead of having the best record in the NBA we now are only tied for the best record in the nba,but guys,we lost to a good team that played very good,on the road, in OT by one possession.Could we have won it,sure, should we have won it,absolutely. But the fact we played so bad and where still in it until the last seconds of OT has to count for something. And yes,the reasons we got to OT and were in it til the last shot was KD and Russ.

[...] Nick Collison on his screen last night: “Well, I’m sure if you rewound it, there was something technically wrong with it. History has told us late in games they (refs) usually let guys grab and hold. It’s more important for me to try and set (a screen) than to try and get technique.
Maloofs agree to sell NBA's Kings to Seattle. The only thing stopping the Sacramento Kings from a sale and move to Seattle is approval by NBA owners.

The Maloof family has agreed to sell the Kings to a Seattle group led by investor Chris Hansen, the league confirmed in a statement Monday morning. The deal is still pending approval from the NBA Board of Governors.

A person familiar with the decision said Sunday night that Hansen's group will buy 65 percent of the franchise for $525 million, move the team to Seattle and restore the SuperSonics name. The Maloofs will have no stake in the team.

Maybe Mo Cheeks could get that job and relocate to Seattle and throw in his knowledge on how to win in a short time! He knows all the tricks of Brooks and his weaknesses. George Karl has defeated the Thunder and he knows that it has been a Seatte Supersonics team, with Durant and Collison still imbeded in its roots.

OKC lost the game, what's new. It was bound to happen sooner rather than later because the way they play is such a simple offensive pattern, anybody could defend it, even with the skills of Durant and Westbrook.

Their coach should incorporate more tactics than that. For example, give plays to their big men in order to score nside and around the basket. That would be better than jumpes or three pointers that are less effective in tight games. Another is, let more players play the game, instead of 7 to 8 players, with the bulk of playing time for the top 3 players. Let other players touch the ball because if you do that, the other teams defense will be moving around to defend the ball and not only concentrated on two players. Let other players shoot the ball. This is a team of 5 players and they will not win games with 2 or 3 players alone. Think about it for a second.
