The Phoenix Suns got rid of their coach Alvin Gentry because their team are going to misse the playoff. I come to think that thecoach is always the scapegoat of the team owners, hat if you don’t make it to the conference playoffs, you’re out. My problem with tha is the team oners usualy select the players and not the coach. With top coaches,like Phil Jackson, he is the one to chose his team, not the owners. He wants to assure tha he hs the right pieces and mix to make a run to the finals.

Teams that has longtime coaches, like Jery Sloan and Greg Popovich had ther position pinned, because they are very coachesand friends with the owners!

On the first video Perk seemed a little hesitant and the pass looked sloppy,but he must have worked on it after practice because on the second one the pass was crisp,it stayed inbounds, right on the money and started the break that lead to a dunk. Also,if they eliminated the center position on the All-Star ballots,how did Dwight Howard get voted a starter? He’s a great player,but shouldn’t there a minimum amount of games you need to play?

I don’t know what everyone is jumping on Perk about for that pass. It was a perfect no-look pass to a future hall-of-famer standing right where he tossed it. Granted, that future hall-of-famer was wearing the wrong uniform. But that’s just details. The pass itself was a Magic Johnston-like thing of beauty.

Bryant finished with 1,591,437 votes, edging James by about 7,800 to finish as the leading vote-getter and break a tie with Shaquille O’Neal, Jerry West and Karl Malone for the most consecutive starting nods.

Kobe Bryant has been voted to his NBA-record 15th consecutive All-Star start, leading four Los Angeles players into next month’s game. The NBA’s leading scorer is a four-time MVP of the All-Star game and last year became its career scoring leader.

The ballot changed this year, eliminating the center position. Fans were required to vote for three frontcourt players and two guards.

Reserves will be announced next Thursday. Coaches will vote for seven players in their conferences: two guards, three frontcourt players and two players regardless of position, and can’t vote for a player on their own team.
