KD should get fined. Who yells obscenities at refs for everyone to hear? The same refs give him generous calls. He's the very definition of the fake tough guy that he accused Chris Bosh of being. One minute he's crying and wants his mommy, the next he's dropping f-bombs at every opportunity. So fake.

Russ is right. People around here tend to freak out anytime OKC loses a game. Brooks can't coach, none of the players are any good, and the team probably won't even make the playoffs let alone the Finals. When you step back and look at it as a whole, it's a bit funny.

On a side note, watching a replay of last night's game earlier, I'm pretty sure that after he got tossed, KD looked back at the official and suggested that he do rather bad things to himself.

With the Thunder schedule getting light with Philadelphia, Toronto, Washington and Minnesota as their games, Brooks should at least make playing time for the second unit and try a combination of Perkins, Ibaka and Sefolosha with them and see the chemistry. Play more minutes for Reggie, Collison with Kevin Martin. PJIII and Lamb should also be used to hone their individual skills of the NBA!

Can a team like Pheonix that signed a player that had been amnestied trade that player? I can't find anywhere where that is against the rules. I know you can't amnesty a signed or traded for player but I didn't know if there were a restriction on trading a player that had been amnestied?

[...] Darnell Mayberry on how bananas you should be: “I’m not saying go bananas. I’d never say do that. But the Thunder hasn’t exactly played well lately. You can say OKC is 24-7 and yada yada ya. But the fact of the matter is this team has had some extremely disturbing stretches, periods or halves. This team is good enough to win on most nights, and that’s precisely what it’s done for the most part. But believe me, what we’re watching right in no way is the identity this team wants to have. There’s too much inconsistency. Too many breakdowns. This team’s goal this season and beyond is to sustain a level of performance, against good teams and bad, and right now that just isn’t happening.” [...]

Brooklyn is a match-up nightmare for the THUNDER, D-Will every bit as good, if not better than Russ, Thabo can't shoot & that's all Joe Johnson does, Gerald Wallace doesn't care tha KD is a SuperStar & he's not in awe, Lopez did what he wanted against the physically challenged Perk, SERGE is the NBA's best shot blocker BUT Reggoe Evans don't shoot & doesn't care if he does, Reggie rebounds, he understands his job in the NBA is to rebound & be physical.... PERK vs. Reggie would've been worth the price admission by themselves BUT the OKC coach decided that having PERK guard someone he can't & the NBA's best shot blocker guard the guy who shoots the least in the NBA by his own choice, was a legitimate coaching move....

I'm beginning to dread the OKC-DENVER game later on.... Could get ugly for the Boyz in Blue....

I'm glad the Thunder lost this game. I'm glad. If they would have won it would have glossed over all the things the Thunder need to work on. There are many things on offense and defense that this team needs to improve upon. Defensive assignments, spacing, fast breaks, etc. I want the Thunder to go all the way this year, and the only way to do that is to be a well-oiled machine. Right now they are sputtering. Sure, it's the mid-season slump. Miami is going through some of it too. So keep working on those areas you know you need to work on, and we'll be fine come playoff time. Ignore them, and you might get beat out the first round.
