Two weeks ago Memphis was the hottest team in the NBA. Today, the OKC Thunder are the hottest. What a great team they are turning out to be this year. I like their chances even better this year than last. Just wish Maynor would find his shot. Beginning to think it’s lost for good.

The THUNDER have the fans spoiled big time, I’ve never been spoiled by a sports team before, Oh wait yes I have, the John Elway Broncos, the Barry Switzer Sooners Wishbone attack, Stoopsie & his Blake recruits, Tulsa Golden Hurricane with Tubby Smith & Bill Self pacing the sideline…. It nice when the team you cheer for succeeds at a high level….

The THUNDER are a very strong basketball team & it’s good to know that they still haven’t peaked….

The Dejuan Blair thing and his relative lack of minutes the last few games the Thunder have played them is very strange. Dejuan’s energy and rebounding always seems to translate against OKC. Thank god Pop for whatever reason doesn’t see it that way.

From your colmn; Spurs coach Gregg Popovich on Ibaka: “He’s gifted. You have a 4-man who can spread the court and shoot it like that, it makes it tougher on everybody and that’s why there’s so many shooting 4s in the league.” Coming from Popovich, he knows what he is talking about. What’s unbelievable is Ibaka’s 17 rebounds, which if he comes night after night, he’ll be the next Kevin Love with double-double game after game!

KD had just 19 points and only seven shots through three quarters. It was more about Durant deferring to the hot hands (Ibaka mostly) as opposed to the defense dialing in and stopping him. He doesn’t care about Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony are both scoring in bunches this season. Durant continues to show he’s satisfied with winning in bunches. A mark he is more focused in winning the championship this year!
