From John Rohde column; Brooks included multiple factors while explaining Westbrook’s improvement since his rookie season in 2008-09. “It’s experience,” Brooks began. “He watches film. He has on-court experience, practice-court experience. All the things he has learned in the last four or five years is starting to come together. … It’s paying off now.

Brooks need to say those things and motivate other Thunder players; like, Sefolosha, Ibaka and Perkins, his starting line-up and so with his second unit, just to maintain the momentum of every quarter and not let the foot off the accelerator until the buzzer sound!

Its mostly Duncan doing the defense on the paint and the smaller guards trying to defend the perimeter and opposite for its offense by moving the ball until it finds an open shooter for a three-point shot.

The Thunder should by now be aware of this tactic and not leave any Spur’s player unmanned, by helping on double teaming on defense, that’s were Thunder defense gets burned!
