Just want to put in my 2 cents about Kobe.People keep talking about him like he’s this old geezer and I’ve done it myself on occasion,but then I see him play and the only thing about him thats old is his age and how many years he’s been in the league.

Nick Collison is becoming a scoring threat inside the paint and that’s he should be always play. The good thing is that the point guard and Durant are passing him the ball.

Thabeet should be more in the game to use his 7’2″ to good use, specially the Thunder were outrebounded 36-45, 18 rebounds by Howard, who at 6’10″ kmows how to get the ball. That to me is the Thuner’s weakness, rebounds!

What’s scary was that the Lakers closed in on the Thunder in the last 1 minute of the 4th quarter with only 6 points separating the two teams. The Thunder’s deteriorating defense plus the Laker’s Kobe scoring sort of made a good game become lack of determination for te Thunder to close out the game with a bigger impact. That probably made Artest say that the lost might not be so bad, the same way with James Worthy reaction.

My take on the Thunder is; dont celebrate until the sound of the buzzer and continue to defend for 48 minutes. Thabeet is becoming more of a defender than previous games, needs to continue that level due to Perkins getting into foul trouble. Good to see Ibaka and Thabeet together in the game, 2 shot blockers!
