The THUNDER is quite a team, the focus, the roster energy from top to bottom, it's very impressive....

So TULSA has become the doghouse I see.... That's nice, the downtown Coney Island is really nice.... Highly recommend it.....

The bench players should all be ready to showcase their talents, the top 9 players are performing at such a high level that it will guarantee great evaluation minutes for those NBA wannabees.... If they ain't ready & prepared, they'll be living on Tulsa time.... Actually they are almost all there now anyway.... The Tulsa front office personnel should be able too sell some tickets....

We used to be deeper. Our 3rd unit last year wouldve handled garbage minutes better than that.

Still, I don't remember us being this dominant early in the season through 3 quarters of a game.

Here's a quote from Collison as per DM's interview; Collison; “We talked about it before the game. These games are really tests for us. These are where we can really grow. When you’re on a back-to-back and you’re tired it’s easy to give in but the good teams are able to fight that off mentally. We’ve been up and down the last couple of years with that. The season’s young. But so far our focus has been a lot better.”

Like what the man (Collison) said, it is a test for the younger players to know if they matured in defense and offense, if they see the light at the end of the tunnel for them; if they haven't, then it will be the same old exit for them. Whether in the first round, second or the finals, it is up to the players and coach!

Another one from Brooks is;Brooks: “Russell was really good on the ball. I thought he had one of his better games. He’s had a bunch of them lately, on both ends of the floor. Russell has the ability to do that. There’s not a lot of guys in this league that can impact the game defensively and offensively like he has.” This one Brooks knows that if his point guard takes care of the ball and wisely distributes it to the other player, they have a chance or a better chance to win more games!

I have to wait till Christmas to witness if the Thunder have improved their defense against their number one rival, the Miami Heat. If and only if the Thunder can beat the Heat decisively, will I can say the Thunder has the capabilities to win the championship. The other two teams to watch for are the Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs, but it seems the Spurs have taken care of the Grizzlies yesterday.

The things to look for with the Thunder this year is keeping their 2nd unit playing well in defense and offense and by that their bigs (Sefolosha, Ibaka, Perkins, Thabeet, Collison and Durant) got to score, rebound, keep the opposing bigs from camping inside the paint and block shots. If they leave the paint open for drives by their opponent or leave their man to help the guards, then their defense is worthless!

The point guard has to rely point to the direction of where this team is heading, whether winning or selfish plays!

The team is starting to gel. I have to admit Martin is replacing Harden's scoring rather well. He is like a poor man's Reggie Miller.
