If they stagger when they’re out they can both sit out enough time and still have at least one if them in. I thought that was the plan.

But he can’t keep playing KD and RW , 40+ minutes per game, especially on front end of a back to back. There’s no future in wearing them down.

Bottom line, second unit gotta improve when playing together. And I’m not smart enough to know how that gets done, whether its time on the court together or a different lineup or different personnel.

The second unit also was a part of the loss to Memphis.

The game was over when brooks pulled Westbrook and Ibaka out with 3 min left in the 3rd and left a lineup of maynor,Martin, Sefalosha, Collison and Thabeet in. The lead went from 2 to 11 in that time. What happened to the new sub pattern of leaving Westbrook or kd in at all times?? I guarantee you that wouldn’t have happened if Westbrook had stayed in through the end of the 3rd. Bad coaching move there.
