Not crazy about the look, but maybe it will look better in person. I thougt that was the case with the first alternates, which have grown on me.

As for the logo, I see nothing wrong with it, and have grown to like it. Compare it to the other logos around the league. Any of them could objectively be called a bit cartoonish. A few, most notably the logos for the Lakers and Celtics, are respected due to the success of those franchises. If they debuted today though, they might well be called cartoonish.

I don’t love it, but in looking over the other jerseys, I was reminded of something. All the classic NBA “brands” only have two or three colors (I count white when it really is part of what they do, not just the required home jersey color). Bulls – red, black, white. Celtics – green, white. Lakers – purple, gold, white. Spurs – silver, black.

I’d like to see the Thunder simplify a bit. They’re light blue, dark blue, white, orange, and yellow. I’d rather see their everyday look be a little more classic, so they don’t have to resort to the contrived, throwback alternate.

And, I believe many would secretly rejoice if the Thunder, rather than updating jerseys, would update their logo. Simplify, lose the 3D “OKC”, and give some nod to actual Thunder – either the weather or the sound a stampeding herd makes.

Hard to read, yes, but maybe they could illuminate the court with black lights and the names and numbers would glow in the dark! At least it’s the correct blue, unlike the last new unis.

These should be the thunders alternate jerseys instead of the dark blue and white ones. Huge fan of the Christmas jerseys
