Presti would make a good oil man. All the GM's have draft picks, but it's the GM's who find the prospects whose asset value quadruples over the first few years who are the most successful. We OKC fans will have to get used to this! Durant, Westbrook and now apparently, Ibaka, are the fixtures. To complement them, Presti will mine the college ranks for that player that will turn into a huge star by the time his rookie contract expires. Then that player will be traded for huge future upside, and the process starts all over again. This is what he means by "sustainable". However, if you're going to win with young future superstar rookies instead of proven but tired old veterans, you have to pick right every time. As long as we get another James Harden with these new draft picks, the strategy will work. Fans just need to keep from getting so emotionally tied to anyone by Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka.
