Seattle needs to get over itself you all the chance to keep your franchise but failed to do so . We all voted to upgrade our facilities why couldn’t you all . Plus you all couldn’t even fill your existing arena NBA basketball with a half full arena thats horrible . with all that how could you all ever expect quality players to wanna stay and extend contracts there .

Reading comment strings such as this from sonics fans is precisely why I’ve lost all sympathy for their supposed plight in losing their team.

For all their bluster about how progressive they are they immediately prove themselves to be every bit as bigoted, ignorant, bloodthirsty, and dishonest as anyone they’re trying to berate.

and i agree with andy, okc won’t give a shit about their team when they have their time at the bottom of the ladder, and it will come, without big money for all players these days no ones gonna come to okc, i believe some of their current stars will stay, but thats a teamship thing, they couldn’t get players without the draft.

Clay Bennett Lied. End of story, classing fans as part of the “organisation” when abusing the Thunder is just stupid. It’s like saying “Kevin Durant stole our team.” I see John Rhode is bored and looking for something of substance to write about. Don’t worry John, NBA will be back very soon.

I’m going to be seriously conflicted when Seattle gets a team back, I’m a Thunder convert from being a Sonic fan since about 1990. Still have not met another one. Im special!

@Mac. If you think it’s about fan support, you’re pretty naive. But keep buying in, and when the team thunders up and out of okc you can open a nice little museum. And last I checked, the oil & gas industry is pretty far from angelic.

Clay lied to us and we feel so pathetic and lost that all we can do is cry, boo hoo. How is it that in OKC we new exactly what was about to happen. Fact is the sonics were lost when shculman died and they were finished when Shultz bought them in 2001. The NBA is all OKC has other than college crap and you think we won’t support them years down the road. Hansen is only in this for the money otherwise he would fix Key arena. Hansen is our “Hedge Fund Savior” who tells no lies and is sweet and honest, lmfao, really a hedge fund manager is a nice guy. Last I read hedge funds almost destroyed our country. Looks and sounds like sonics fans are stuck in a fog praying some fool will once again make a losing bet on a town already inundated with sports. Meanwhile “IT’S TIME TO THUNDER UP”, got to go an get ready the season is about to begin!
