You should be awful thankful that your TEAM isn't cherrypicking the way its fans are. I'm sure the Thunder is well aware that in the third quarter, (when, for instance, the Lakers used to unleash their hack-attack with impunity, to get back into games, with the officials blessing), the officials blessed the Thunder with a foul still to GIVE at the end of the quarter, but put the Heat, who were playing no different on defense than they had at the start of the game, into the penalty with a staggering 8:53 left in the quarter. The officials tried to give the Thunder a chance, and they didn't take it, unable to close what would have been an ever-widening gap to single digits by the end of the quarter. And then enough cluelessly ungrateful fans started booing the officials in the fourth that they took their gifts and went home, letting the players fight it out (including Derek "Flash" Fisher coming from the left to "steal" the ball from Wade's right hand). Officials are human too, so if the series comes back to OKC, I'd suggest trying not to be ungrateful wretches next time... and lightening up on the cherrypicking.

The slow start and 15 Pt deficit cost us dearly. But is it too much for Referee Tom Washington to know the rules of goal tending? That you cannot goal tend a ball when it is below the basket and headed down. Even when the other ref came back and appeared to question the call? This is the same ref that didn't think Lebron hooking KD's right arm, hitting his left arm, and blocking his thigh, all on one shot, was enough for a foul. And he may have missed calls that would've favored the Heat as well, which only adds to the point. The East and West have provided their best performers for the finals. Too bad the NBA didn't do the same with the refs. Tom Washington showed his skill level. He's pathetic.

I completely agree with coach Brooks that we need tpo play harder and tougher. I would add we need to play MUCH SMARTER and do it MUCH SOONER! The answer...GET NICK COLLISON IN THE GAME SOONER!!! AND for longer minutes. I completely disagree that Kendrick is a better screener than Nick! That is ridiculous. Nick understands screening angles and timing, better than anyone. He gets it! Who to screen for, when to screen, and at what angle to screen at are all more important than just laying your big body on somebody. Most of the time, Kendrick and Serge don't get the shooter open on their picks because they run past or slip the screen before they even set it, trying to get open themselves which is a waste of time since we rarely try to pass to the screener on a roll. Our scorer's are not very good passers and it shows when a screener is actually open on the roll (most often Nick). Nick can make a good play by setting a smart screen after a play breaks down that Kendrick will never make.

Magic Johnson is correct in saying that Westbrook should be accountable for the loss because if he had given assist to other players, then it would be harder for the Heat players to converge on only two guys, Westbrook and Durant, as Harden was not started by the novice coach Brooks. That is the reason for their slow start because they have only two scoring stars.

In game 1, Stephen A. Smith was asked by Stuart Scott what he thought of the game that finished. He replied that he did not like the way Westbrook was shooting too much and not scoring, because it takes away the chances of other players in scoring and put the game in jeopardy. He likes more in being able to sense the outcome of the game with the point guard assisting other players, not only his own scores!

As Westbrook is the point guard, he is the extension of the coach in real time and he has the ball more than 50% of the time, but he holds the ball way too long and has no set plays or maneuvers to have another player trailing, so he can pass to. What he does is go around the perimeter and does two things; pull for a jumper or drive to the rim to get hammered without any foul committed on him other words, turnover!

Let be realistic about the player, maybe you love him, but this is a game of 5 players and not a single man sport and let criticism as they are, not be as protective as somebody that looks the other way as if nothing matters! It cannot solve problems by ignoring the obvious and Westbrook needs to change his ways or be liable for their down fall! This is the finals and not the regular season were scoring is showing who is a better player! Let's mature and not pull the team down by so many wild shots or jumpers!

What happened to the real Brooks? The thinking that Perkins would open up his offence, where did that come from? When it should have been about the Thunder DNA, we're a defese team first. I dont think Perkins is an effective defender when My-a-me plays small.

Anyone notice how bad we're shooting our FT in the finials?

Gotta stop the slow start stuff. Three straight games, this is not the Thunder team we know and love. 18-2 in game 2 of the Finals!? No excuses are valid.

I counted at least six shots taken within the normal flow that were good shots...just didn't go in. That and the missed free throws was the difference.

Stop missing dunks! Go up with authority (maybe two hands) and slam it, or just lay it in.

Gotta pile on Perk as well, same as everyone has said here. I do think he should still start, but must eliminate the missed catches and the turnovers. NO TRAVELING, PERK!

Let's win Sunday night. WE CAN DO THIS!

GO THUNDER!!

The NBA has the WORST officiating of any professional sport. There were obviously 2 fouls on that play that weren't called. Why? B/c the front office already told the refs that the Heat would win that game. Yes, the Thunder got off to a horrendous start but the officials made sure it stayed that way by putting OKC's stars in early foul trouble and keeping them there the entire game. The 4th quarter was atrocious. Just when you think the officiating can't get any worse, games like this happen. This is what happens when money, power, and greed take over what should be a fun, competitive GAME. It makes me sick as a basketball fan to know that NBA games are no longer determined by the players, but by the zebras with the whistles and the front office. Why is there no transparency (even though Stern promised such after the Donaghy debacle)? Because then they'd have to admit to the public that even though referees don't "fix" games, they damn sure "guide" them to extend series, put teams with stars into the playoffs, and keep the stars on the court. It's all about the money ladies and gentlemen. Until you face that fact, no- calls like this and biased officiating will keep on surprising you. Dear NBA & Stern, do you still beat your wife?

Absolutely pathetic.

Seriously Blake, it was a foul. The rules don't change during the postseason and there were fouls much weaker than that called all night. I think we lost the game long before LJ fouled KD.

Yes, players flop. In fact, even Miami players flop. Funny you didn't mention that. Anyway, flopping stinks and I hope this finally gets addressed this offseason.

Also, you can't be moving under the offensive player when he is in the air and expect to get a charge. It is what it is, even of you have convinced yourself Battier was only moving an eensie weensie teeny tiny bit, it is what it is.

Pathetic??? Really??? Trolling is pathetic. Now go get your room cleaned before your parents get home.
