we outnumbered them. we broke an invisible barrier over and over again. we outcoached them. we wore them down with our versatility. it’s unbelievable but true, we’re the champs of the west. i can imagine what sa feels like to be so close, but have it snatched from them. I am very thankful we made it through, no one was hurt bad, and there weren’t any hard feelings. sa is a very sportsmanship team. like mr. mayberry wish I could write as well as they played, but this victory sure is sweet for now. but that just feeds this ever growing fire in me, and i’m betting in the thunder team too. it still wants some more of this.

Yes. Purchased, and completely dismantled and gutted. Purposely tanking the season for the high draft pick and low attendance numbers to cite as evidence.

I really don’t want to see them win because I’m bitter. They’re good and that makes this so much worse for the old Sonics fans.

The more it I look at those shirts it looks like they were made for the Spurs and we stole them and put our logo on them… Just like the series. It’s actually kind of fitting.

Brett, are you from Oklahoma? Do you live here now? Not trying to be a jerk here. Those are important questions. Because anybody who is from Oklahoma knows how improbable this whole journey is. Anybody from Oklahoma knows that 20 years ago, heck even 10 years ago, the NBA coming to town would have been about as far-fetched of a reality as you could dream of. When the Sonics drafted Durant, the team had already been purchased by Oklahoma owners. By then, everyone could see it coming. But for years and years, this city and this state had no shot of having an NBA team. Now, just four years after the Thunder came to town the team is playing for a title. Ask anybody from Oklahoma. Nobody saw this coming. -DM-

Gee, I guess I am a nobody. I saw this coming every since Seattle got the 2nd draft ping pong ball because I knew that = Durant and they would be coming here. I wish journalist wouldn’t throw the phrases like tha where “nobody could have predicted” when they really mean “I didn’t predict, nor my media colleagues.”
