I disagree. The Thunder can give Lebron fits, and while he IS the best basketball player in the world, KD is close behind, and at their current state of health, Westbrook and Harden are the 3rd and 4th best players in the series.

Miami would take it in a 7 game series. Yes, OKC has the depth and talent top to bottom; but at the end of the day LeBron is the world’s best player and he is on a mission.

Great analysis, DM.

First of all, I think we’ll be going against the Heat. David Stern will make that phone call.

Secondly, how we play will determine who wins the championship. In these playoffs, it’s clear that we have the better, all around team. But if KD turns this into him vs LeBron, LeBron will win every time. Move the ball.

I honestly don’t think it matters as I’m confident the Thunder could beat both, although the Celtics more easily. The Celtics just match up horrible against the Thunder, who are bigger, more athletic, and younger then them. Experience doesn’t mean much of an advantage considering who the Thunder have beaten to get to this point, and the Thunder have won series playing very different styles of play. The Celtics got all they could handle from a young 76ers team who are way worse then the Thunder are. And look at the Heat series and how the Celtics are in that: KG and Rondo. Neither of those players will have an advantage against the Thunder. As for the Heat, they present a more unique challenge in that Lebron is about as perfect a defender you could create to guard Durant, but without a healthy Bosh, the Thunder are just too deep and too athletic.
