Yes, Steve Blake is a clutch 3 pt shooter. He made big 3s in the Metta/Harden game when Russ, once again, fell asleep. He also made clutch 3s in game 7 of the Laker/Nuggets series.

Steve Blake should not be wide open for a corner 3. Brooks echoed the same sentiments.

Russ needs to be criticized because he’s great at responding to it with a better game. No one cares what you’re tired of.

Steve Blake is NOT a clutch 3 point shooter. I get tired of all the complaining and micromanaging of Russ. That guy plays his ass off and he looks to score because he is a very good scorer and we need him to score. His scoring saved us against Dallas in games 1 & 2. Durant had off nights too. People need to get off westbrooks back

What was Russ doing watching the play? Steve Blake can hit that shot! He was looking at the play, not even helping and left a clutch 3 pt shooter wide open. He did that the last time they played in LA so it’s a habit.

I appreciated KD trying to get his teammates involved but he needed to demand the ball more and attack.

Russ was in a tunnel for most of the 1st half. There were a ton of times that he came down the court looking for his own shot. Sessions was in front of him some but Bynum was doing a much better job of helping. The Laker defense adjusted very well to him. He still decided to shoot shoot shoot and miss miss miss.

We got whatever we wanted in game 1, but that was game 1.

Durant is just fine on this and what was needed to win the game. He is maturing and his shot selection improved. If he thinks getting his teamates involved is what is needed, then that the way to play the game. Shooting 30% wouldn’t win games, but with that percentage, Durant now knows that defense can win the game and he chose to lock down on the Laker’s primary shot amker, Kobe. Two most important sequence was when he drove to the basket after he stole the ball from Kobe and the when he drove yto the basket. He did not drive to the basket because they were double teaming him and he knows, he might just commit a turnover and hte next best thing was to find an open teammate and assist him.

My only concern for this team is to get the big guys scoring and drive to the basket, but that will not materialize, unless the point guard will not feed the bigs! Its always his score that is most important for Westbrook, not winning the game. Westbrook can score points, maybe 40, but still lost the game. Its a 5 man team game, not one man!

Refs destroyed our rhythem. A fairly called game would have been an 8-10 point win for the Thunder. Shows you we can beat the refs and the lakers. Something has to be done with officiating. It’s embarrassing for the NBA.

I love this team’s crunch time swag so far in the playoffs. James Harden simply decided he was going to get to the rim and put this thing away so we could go to La La up 2-0.

Then Brooks(!?)switched KD onto Kobe! Big steal and finish. Then Russ forced a TO, James had great D on Kobe. Whew!

I hate to say it, but I missed most of the game. I’ve been sick and fell asleep before it even started!
