Big game tonight. If the Thunder can find a way to pull this one out, it's all but over for the Mavs. But they will come out firing on all cylinders - playing like their season depends upon it - because it does. The calls won't go Thunders way all night. Expect that. The Mavs can't lose and expect to go anywhere this year. thunder have to have a game of games to beat them, and if they do, it doesn't really matter if the Mavs win the next game at home, the Thunder will bring it back here and end it. So, go for it Thunder, and good luck. I hope you dig them a mighty deep hole tonight.

Agree Lori -- the elbow to Russ was concerning, and I could not believe nothing was called on it either. Very disappointing.

I'm upset that nothing was done about Dirk's elbow to Westbrooks face. Nothing. It's amazing what that guy gets away with!

I liked what Cook and Collison brought to the game. They missed some shots, but got the turnover by taking the charge. I really like that, that when one thing isn't working, try something else. But they made something positive happen and that was so important. Fisher had one of his best games. Made some big shots. One of these nights KD is going to explode for 40 or 50 on Dallas. CAn't wait!

Every player on the Thunder team needs to find a quiet place within themselves they can go to when the craziness that surrounds them gets to be a little too much. We don't need any self-imploding players such as Rondo at Boston, Stodemier at NY, Metta Peace at LA, or even Howard in Orlando. When things get crazy, go to that quiet place and calm down and think about what you're about to do. Will it benefit or hurt the team? That quiet place might be your old bedroom as a child, or a corner of your backyard, or anywhere you feel safe and comfortable. Use that place - and stay in the game. We need every one of you for this run to the title.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “Major credit goes to Thunder coach Scott Brooks tonight. He made the most important adjustment he needed to make tonight. When he inserted James Harden at his usual four-minute mark, he subbed Harden in for Ibaka as opposed to Thabo Sefolosha. That allowed Sefolosha to remain in the game and take the assignment on Jason Terry. Sefolosha didn’t come out for the first time until 1:34 was left in the first quarter.” [...]

Do I feel GREAT about the wins? Not really. But we're up 2-0 in the 1st round of the playoffs and Russ is playing well. Hey, I'll take it.

It's possible Brooks is playing KD too much but if you recall last years playoffs KD struggled with physical on the ball defense just the same. No worries. It just allows the other all-star talent on the team more freedom.
