The good news is that the Thunder (for the most part) are very healthy going into the last 2 weeks of the regular season. That's a blessing in and of itself. Thabo is back to his old form. Westbrook seems in great shape. While Durant seems a little worn out, I think he will bounce out of it when the playoffs do finally arrive. I would like to rest some of the starters a little more - not completely, but some more and give some reserves some minutes to get them fine tuned. I'm not all about we got to win every game from here on out, but we need to find consistency, and play smarter each ballgame. In the playoffs it's physicality and it's mental - who's the toughest in both categories.

Thunder played really good the first half of this game. Good ball distribution, good defense, good everything. Second half was more freestyle and it didn't pan out too well. It was a play-off-style game (in terms of intensity) and one which can be educational if the team looks at it that way. How can we beat this team if we ever play them in a tight game like this again and our two leading scorers aren't as hot as usual? Just use it for a lesson and move on. Sheeez, we're doing great so just hang on to your seat for the ride. We've come so far, and this little bump in the road is nothing. We're still moving toward our goal, which is a Western Conference Championship.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “It’s a shame the Thunder players and coaches keep saying they don’t really care about the standings. Because they had a golden opportunity to regain control of their own destiny with a win tonight. The Spurs got smacked at home by the Lakers, and the Thunder could have gone up two games. Instead, the Thunder remains just a game ahead with the Spurs still having two additional games remaining and the head-to-head tiebreaker.” [...]

I can't recall, does CP' deal with the Clips end this off season or did he add another year ?

That's gonna be the next drama for the Clips, whether they can get him to sign on long term.

And I suspect that will influence Blake's decision also, though he would give up a lot of money opting out.

KD looked tired tonight. When those first couple shots of his from the elbow/foul line area didn't go in I thought it was going to be one of those nights and it was. By his lofty standards he was really sub-par last night. Hopefully that won't be the case much if at all in the playoffs.
