also, the refs were ridiculous in that heat game. there were tons of non calls going the heat’s way. if some of them had been reversed (like when james knocked KD down to the ground) a foul would have been called.

Get over the Heat game. This game tonight I don’t think we’ve met the Indiana Pacers yet this year. They are a young talented team also with David West, Granger and Hibbert and others. They can light it up too and have won 4 of their last 5. They took the Heat to overtime and so they have some guns. We better concentrate on them and forget the Heat game if we want to put a W on our side of the team record. It ought to be a real entertaining game as well! Kinda want to see what the Tyler Hansbrough guy can do for the Pacers also.

Your article says Heat players “called out” Perkins. I didn’t see any quotes which said, “I call out Kendrick Perkins to a fist fight in the OKC Corrale”, or “Perkins is gonna get it next time we meet”. Calling someone out means you’re threatening them or want to square up and go to fist city. Most of those quotes are rather restrained. What did you mean they “called him out”? Are they going to meet at Wrestlemania 16? Are they gonna have a boxing match for charity? I don’t think Haslem really wants any part of Perkins.

The Thunder have been called soft for a few years now, they are just making a statement that they wont be walked all over. This is just good, tough, agressive ball been played between two really good basketball teams.

The Thunder are finally growing up and finding their own path/place in the NBA (not the Sonics) and part of growing up in sports means creating rivalries. What better rivalry to start have than with a talented team like the Heat. We will win some and we will lose some, but man, we are going to be entertained. I love sports!

It doesn’t matter, a win is a win almost doesn’t count and this was Miami’s back to back game OKC had the fresher legs. They say to beat miami you have to play physical, well miami proved last night they to can play physical as well. The thunder are a great team, but both teams have a tough road to the finals if they want to see each other again.

Jaw all you want, Men in Heat, but let’s save the final words when we meet (if in fact we do) in the NBA Finals. All the dialogue in the world won’t help you at that time, nor will it the Thunder. It’ll be last man standing and it will be fun to watch.
