On the standing O for fish and not Reid,Jackson, et al. Was at game, but can only speak for myself–Fisher was with the Lakers (a/k/a the enemy) for years. Need to explain to Fish–no hard feelings because he is now part of Thunder. Considering how hard we have cheered against him for years; wanted to let him know he is welcomed. Thought was a very nice gesture/welcome by the crowd.

Let me say two things about the ovation. One, I wasn’t implying that it was a bad thing. Not by any means. Two, Ryan Reid and Lazar Hayward and Royal Ivey and Reggie Jackson and on and on and on didn’t get that kind of ovation. So what gives with Fish? -DM-

I want to echo Michele’s last statement. I feel like we cheered him so loudly because him because he is one of us now. He’s wearing our name. He’s the new guy, and we wanted him to feel welcome. That’s just the kind of fans we are.

To Leah, we already had all of those players and yes it will come down to the stars, but we needed a leader because KD isn’t one just yet. In the playoffs fish will bring what we needed last year. His impact will be way more than the stat sheet. Michele you are right too well said

in regards to the standing O, we are the type of fans to embrace whoever is wearing Thunder Blue. They are now a part of the team. Grudges are gone. They have to be in order for us to successful. The team’s motto says it best: Team is One.
