Nope, agree with everything you said. KD is better getting the ball off of picks and posting..

Personally, I would like Harden to mainly have the ball in his hands. Then run plays for Durant (post at the top of the key, pick and roll, etc..)

Harden is the best decision maker now that Maynor is out and it’s not even close..

Fine – let him take the shots, but when the game is in the balance and all you need is a 2 – not a 3 – then work it in a little bit, and try to get the best possible look – not just jack a 3 early in the shot clock. And why have KD bring the ball up the court? All I want is sound, fundamental basketball. I don’t need any highlight reels or any of that. Just play good, solid defense, and work for the best possible shot. Am I asking too much?

KD had a bad game, no argument from me there. However, KD should take the most shots and 22 is barely above his average.

Frankly, I think KD is too unselfish..

I can’t tell if you are calling Westbrook out, merely calling attention, or again stirring the pot as you’re wont to do. Westbrook played a great game, and this time, it was KD who took too many shots, couldn’t connect, and was trusted with the game but came up short.

Thunder could be scary good if all the cogs and wheels were working together. But we’re not there yet, and it may be like a racehorse, holding them back just a while longer before we go for the stretch run. That timing I leave in Scott Brooks hands. We don’t want to be a San Antonio like last year and lose out in the first round. They had built a great regular season record, but I guess ran out of gas at the end to Memphis. We want more this year. More than we got last year, which was quite a bit. We want it all!

Sometimes last night they were just looking for the easy 3 and not really setting up any kind of play. I think Darrell hit it on the head. We need to have a quarterback at point and it isn’t just the Durant-Westbrook show. Move the ball around, try different plays, not just that one-on-one schoolyard stuff. Come on guys, we can play a lot smarter than we did last night. We can defend better. We can secure the ball better. We can hit more freethrows. We must get better as the season goes along this year. This could be your year. Will you grasp it?

What a disappointing stretch this has been for our Thunder. As elated as I was with their stellar play in January and February I am even more disappointed in this 10-game stretch.

If these players really want to be champions they need to stop playing for themselves and start playing for the team. Coaches as well need to work with the players to help them find the missing ingredient and get back on track.
