DM. Thanks for all your efforts. Good stuff.

May I request that you share your observations and opinions on the little jerk in the yellow T-Shirt that was lip-jackin all game long from the front row. He looked like Dorf on Golf!

I know that Philly is viewed by many as a classless town. That's because ..... IT IS! I know I shouldn't characterize nor judge (forgive me lord) an entire sports town but look at their history. I remember this red headed loud mouth that used to sit 2 rows behind the visitors bench back in the 90's. Or how about the infamous Eagles fan "Dallas, we HATE you!". Please know I'm not a Cowboys fan - but it made an impression. (Mo Cheeks - I'm talkin fans - not players! You, Collins, Dr J, Coach Scotty, some of the classiest ever!)

Anyways, what was up with that dang little yankee? He even got KD to the point he had to verbally b1tch slap him around.

Hope to hear your thoughts based on what you saw last night.

Love these blogs. Durant and Turner almost getting into it, that was a jewel. How can you help but lose your temper sometimes with all those big arms flailing around in there. I thought basketball was supposed to be a non-contact sport - but apparently sometimes that aspect of the game is forgotten. And Westbrook being in a bad mood, I like that too. If Perk is Big Nasty, then Westbrook is turning into Little Nasty. Love the fire that Thunder is throwing out!

I don't see how people can watch a game like this and talk crap about Russ, without Russ, the thunder lose this game.

Also, in the middle of the terrible 3rd, I thought royal ivey should have gotten a couple more shots. He was wide open almost every time.

Also, philly fans (nba and nfl) have got to be some of the rudest fans ever. I'll never live there. City of brotherly love my...

[...] Darnell Mayberry on last night: “The way Westbrook started the game offensively was a thing of beauty, too. He was ultra-aggressive and got to the rim at will against fellow UCLA Bruin Jrue Holiday. In truth, neither could guard the other. But on this night, Westbrook won the battle and the war. Russ hit one pull-up jumper in the first half that maybe two other players on the planet could make — Ty Lawson and Derrick Rose, because those are the only two players I can think of that could go as fast as Westbrook was going, stop on a dime and rise for a rhythmic jumper.” [...]

Very fortunate to win this game. In fact, the end game execution for the Sixers was awful..

Gotta give Westbrook credit for his rebounding, especially the last one. However, disagree with you DM on your Westbrook turnover comment.

If RW averages 7 turns with 4 assists in the playoffs (along with 22 pts on 20 shots), the Thunder are definitely not getting out of the West. Not sure that can even be disputed.

This was a perfect example of a playoff game. Everything slows down, so valuing the ball becomes that much more important. Like you said, if this was the Spurs/Heat/ Bulls the Thunder are leaving with an L.

Darnell, great comments sir! I feel as though I just watched the extended highlights of this game. I hope you will continue to tweet these thoughts for each game.

We all know how good Russell is, and I think we can all see substantial improvement in his overall game this year. Russell and Kevin both continue to improve almost game by game...good stuff for the Thunder.

On Westbrook, Collins: "that guy is a little pit bull". Kobe Bryant: "that is one bad little dude right there". Lovin' it!
