You forgot to mention that Paul McCartney was in the house tonight

Really?? McCartney??? If that’s the truth, I’m so hacked off at letting the friend I share tickets with have this game.

Well, we know who’ll get Perk’s minutes when he starts getting suspended for his techs. I’m not worried.

Cole showed some signs of life tonight. Still looks to have a ways to go to me. He must be making a believer out of Brooks though. At one point Brooks subbed out Perk and brought Cole in for him ahead of Nazr which he never would have done as recently as a week ago.

I’m all for honoring the nice arena workers but at freaking halftime? Do it at a tv time out. The game was already boring enough, that just pushed my wife and I to leave early.

People on various Thunder boards were ready throw Ibaka overboard 2 weeks into the season. “I think we should trade Ibaka…etc etc”…get us a PF who can score. Hilarious. I told you people..relax, the young boy will come around! Thanks, DM, the best Thunder blog available.

Don’t call Serge Ibaka (or any other player) a boy. They are all grown men. Serge is 22 years old. He deserves better. (plus it is a derogatory term when used certain ways)

I think part of Serge starting the season so slow can be attributed to playing most of the offseason with the spanish national team. Now, I haven’t watched a whole lot of european ball (only FIBA worlds, actually) but I hear it’s quite different and less physical. He had some adjusting to do when he got back to the nba.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “Quietly, Perk has been fantastic in three of his last four games. He shut down Al Jefferson (relatively). He shut down Luis Scola (relatively). And tonight, shut down Kaman. In those three games, Jefferson, Scola and Kaman combined to score 42 points on 18-for-52 shooting. For you math geniuses, that translates to a three-game average of 14 points on 34.6 percent shooting.” [...]

I was a Serge Ibaka fan before he ever wore a Thunder jersey. I have nothing but respect for him.

What the heck was Sir Paul doing in OKC last night?

Xavier Henry & Ukpe Udoh had every right to go to college out of State. Conversly, the fans have every right to not care when they come back with an NBA team. Contrast that to Blake Griffen and you get my point…

Someone left the arena early because they recognized the arena workers during halftime? Classy. Great fans you folks turned out to be.
