I think that Sacramento deserved to win last night’s game. They have more talent than their record indicates, but they are a young team, much like OKC 3 years ago.

I don’t think the Thunder can solve their problems with turnovers or rebounding until the individual players stop making excuses and take responsibility for their mistakes and shortcomings. Not boxing out on the boards because you can jump (everybody in the NBA can), and complaining and begging for a foul each time you take a bad shot or make a turnover is preventing true improvement. Scoring is only one part of the game. Truly great players also defend, rebound, and take care of the ball maximizing posessions by making their teammates and thus their team better. When your goal is to score everytime you touch the ball, you don’t see the big picture and are not going to put the team first.

Might not be a bad idea to move RW off the ball in the fourth. Dude plays like he’s a missile, mostly for good but not always. The whole team is turnover prone though.

Have to reiterate comment above. Desperately missed Maynor in this one. Westbrook needs to be moved off the ball in the fourth quarter in my opinion..

Times like this you really miss Maynor’s calm ball movement to slow things down a bit to limit the turnovers.

No nonsense nuggets tonight DM. But you are right on the money, if Sacramento can make OKC pay on turnovers, a decent team, well, lets just not got there. This can be worked out, but they need to remedy it very soon, its really starting to get hard to watch. Alot of them come off stupid lazy passing, under arming passes and shit. Not every assist, pass, play needs to be on Sports Centre, slow down and think about the play. Anyway, I’m done… on to Utah. #thunderupbaby
