When can we see Aldrich? He should be able to at least grabs some boards and block a few shots, hint for Perk. He also has some offensive moves to keep defense honest.

Perkins took the money and has run, or walked away. they made a mistake on this guy. need to play Aldridge, and move on to the finals.

Perk’s problem on offense is that he has only one offensive move – a slow, indecisive couple of backdown dribbles, followed by an equally slow, three-inch vertical leap, flat trajectory hook shot that often doesn’t get above the level of the rim. He’s got to develop a couple of one dribble moves and focus on getting the ball up onto the glass. He corrected his flat free throws. I can’t figure why he isn’t correcting his short range shots.

On defense, it seems his biggest problem has been being out of position. It’s like he’s trying to do too much. He needs to patrol his area better, and take better angles. He needs to look no further than Collison for this. Perk may be quicker than last year, but he can’t rely on quickness and jumping like Ibaka.

Finally, I hate to say it, but Perk’s got an attitude problem. He’s got to play and quit worrying about the refs, or setting a tone.

He’s got to be decisive when he gets the ball (no more 27 ball fakes followed by a weak layup attempt). He needs to just get the ball above his head and go up hard. There would be worse things than him getting 4-5 points a night from free throws. I think he should focus more on getting offensive rebounds. The other guys throw up plenty of shots where Perk is only responsible for a screen or something. If he would go into rebound mode, knowing that a shot will soon go up, he’d get more garbage points.

Just stay within yourself Perk. You talked to Ibaka about just staying inside – just keep doing what you do best – making it difficult inside, and grabbing the rebounds and not letting the opposition have second chances at the basket. You’re OK. We’re all behind your play.
