Deb, it means it’s protected, or will only be traded only under certain “conditions.” Generally, whenever you see that it means a team will not trade the pick for a certain number of years if it is within a certain range. In this case, the Thunder will keep the picks if they are 46-60 in the 2012 and 2013 drafts. The Thunder must send them to Minnesota if they are 30-45. Make sense? -DM-

Iiiiiinteresting. So who does this squeeze out, minutes-wise? Thabo? D Cook? I can’t see Cook’s minutes getting cut after just signing him for two more years. Maybe Thabo is on the trading block? Also, I really don’t see how Reggie is going to get minutes now.

Darnell, what’s your thoughts on what this means to the Thunder minutes-wise and on Lazar as a player?
