Berry Tramel recently said in a column: "By the way, Westbrook this season shot two percentage points worse than Durant from the field and from 3-point range. Not 10. Two."

That's true. But it is not the ending of the story.
Durant's eFG% and TS%, because of the mix of his shots,
are more than 5 percentage points better than Westbrook's.
Take that difference over 20+ total shot attempts (from the field and the foul line) and Durant gets you more than 2 points more than Westbrook does on the same level of activity. That might not sound like a lot but it is more than half the team's point differential or margin of victory. It is not trivial.

Ron seems to have issues. Why all the hating? What are you a Mav? OKC is proud how far these young men gone in three years. Yes, to make the finals this year was exciting. We know we will see much more as they improve, and yes learn from their losses. And if you are a Mav fan LeBron and his dream team is going eat Dallas up like it is Oktoberfest.

Ron, first I think you don't understand anything about professional sports. Superstar players take more opportunities to HELP their team in professional sports. There's a reason why certain players have better stats and LEAD their team to victories. The best player of all time MICHEAL JORDAN took more shots than the rest of his team, because he was simply the BEST PLAYER ON THE ROSTER. Durant and Westbrook, at this point and time, are the best players on the roster. Therefore, they SHOULD take the most shots. There's a reason why Durant is the leading scorer and first team NBA. Westbrook is top point guard in rebounding, and next to Rose, the best point guard in the NBA (Second team NBA).

Second, I think you're comments come off like you're jealous or something. The Thunder consists of college age NBA players and still made it to the Western Conference Finals. I can't imagine how good they will be in the future and it IS A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP (if they stay together). Should be fun to watch the next few seasons.

Ha Ha OKC,

Glad the (punk) westbrook and the (ballhog) durant are done…It was long overdue and a big joke with the way you think your team plays basketball. You two have all the time in the world to keep patting yourselves on the back for being “me” guys and oh yeah….beating the nuggets ….
wanna a ring pop?…hahahahahahahahaha
