Slick... The slick from realgm?Heard all the sob stories before about how durant would leave and the chance came and went and he's still ballin out for OKC Thunder.Durant's a star and he'll get his money even in a small market. Why are people so hard up on over populated city's that they cant even afford to live in? Over priced and overrated! What people fail to realize is that these small markets like OKC,Utah, and Memphis are sports crazed city's.we'll support our teams to the very end good and bad.IMO, some of these large market city's have fan who have become spoiled fair weather fans.If the teams not doing so great those fans will just say"screw them, I'll go to a Seahawks game instead.
Remember all the talk of Duncan leaving the spurs for a bigger market? How did that turn out?Seattle really needs to get over it now, it's been 3 years and like you said, you have the sounders now!

Durrant will be gone to a larger market aftert the lock out. Fine I can see why the Thunder fans will attempt to start they're own legacy even though Bennett and the other Billionaires owners think different. I just warn you and fellow fans that your metropolitain area just can support this team long term. The Sonics existed here 40+ years due to population size which OKC no matter if you sell out each night can support. With the current NBA business model we have no interest in getting back in bed with the NBA while David Stern is at the helm. We have a perfectly fine arena (The Key). Since the NBA left the MLS Sounders have more than filled the void. Plus we have several professional sports and college teams to support.
