We've known what was in his backpack for a few weeks now. The first few games of the nuggets series he had his bible, headphones and iPad in the press conference w him. When people started making a big deal about the bible, those thre things disappeared and the backpack shows up. I'm no investigative reporter, and I'm about as far away from a private eye as you can get, but I had no doubt what was in the backpack. Or book bag as KD calls it.

[...] Darnell Mayberry: “With that said, not for a second did I like Thunder coach Scott Brooks‘ decision to stick with Sefolosha once the Grizzlies showed the switch. If this was the Lakers, fine. But Kobe Bryant is somewhere fishing. The Thunder didn’t need Sefolosha’s defense, and he dang sure wasn’t providing any offense (did you see his first shot from the right corner?). Brooks can’t let Sefolosha stay on the floor and be a liability that allows the opposing team to take it easy. Worse of all, Harden didn’t jump off the bench to check in for the first time until five minutes were showing on the first-quarter clock. That’s seven minutes of, well, basically wasted basketball. There’s no wonder the Thunder had just 17 first-quarter points.” [...]

Why would we trade Perkins? Yeah he has to watch the technicals some but he has brought an attitude change to the Thunder. He is key to this run and that's with him unhealthy. Once he gets fully healthy, he'll be huge

Thanks for calling out Nate Robinson. That was uncalled for behavior on his part. Can you imagine if this was 1989? What would Laimbeer, Oakley, McHale, et al, do to him if he pulled that stunt? They'd mash him into the floor and they'd be right. Nate plays his first significant minutes since he (pretty much single handedly) gave away the regular-season finale and he thinks he can act like that?

Is it just me or do the two dudes picked up from Boston seem to have the worst attitudes on the Thunder? Perkins is a crybaby; has two terrible knees and an inability to keep him emotions in check. Robinson couldn't stay health, makes terrible decisions with the ball and thinks it's ok to clown in the playoffs.

Maybe OKC could trade these guys for someone to teach Durant some post moves. If he had a few of those, it wouldn't matter if you put Tony Allen, Shane Battier or Deion Sanders on him because he'd be scoring and you couldn't deny him the ball.

Thought last night was one of the best examples of team basketball I have ever watched the Thunder play. Yes, the first quarter was bad, but it sure wasn't for lack of Russ trying to get others involved. If Brooks is going to continue starting Thabo, Harden absolutely has to come off the bench sooner. I've heard it tossed around that Perk is only about 65 percent of his normal self. That's a scary though for opponents because he's been pretty good defensively now. Dude lead the league in field goal percentage last season (or was he second behind D12?), so when he's back to full health??? You could really see Gasol starting to hesitate a lot. And Nick has been absolutely outstanding.

Thank you for calling out the horrible officiating. It's gotten to the point of being absurd. Oh, and you didn't even mention the phantom Eric Maynor offensive foul on Mayo. Wow, that was horrible.

Also, love the Rumble comment. With you 100%. Your Rumblings are so good, KD should carry them around in his backpack. He's got room in there.
