Exactly right, Jr. Since we was OOB when he touched it, he was the last person to touch it when it was OOB. The ball was dead the moment he touched it. According to their own explanation they STILL blew it.

The fact that the call was first made CORRECTLY and then overturned based on review is ridiculous. There was no question in real time that Mayo bounced it off of James, who was unquestionably OOB when he was struck. There was NO REASON to review it, EXCEPT to determine if the ball was dead before it struck James. Or to start a process that they HAD TO KNOW would end up improperly awarding the ball to the Grizzlies.

The fact that a perfectly good call can be overturned on a technicality like that is DEAD WRONG, and a TERRIBLE precedent. Basically, according to what they told you, the decision to review set into motion events that made it impossible to make the right call? So why call for the review, knowing this? That is crooked business. That should never, NEVER be possible.

Mayo was standing on the line last and jumped to touch the ball which should have been considered out-of-bounds since the last location of his foot was on the line.
